| The print-shed, with its pizza-paddle. After all these years, S. Cutts is still printing letterpress on a small Adana platen press in an old shed! This one has rather high windows because the local shed-maker said he thought we were astronomers. In the district we have often been refered to as The Bookbinders. The text through the windows is a citation of Robert Barry's Marcuse Piece : a place to which we can come and for a while be free to think 'about what we are going to do'. It has been installed in many places and most recently in workfortheeyetodo book-space in London in the mid-nineteen nineties. |
